Asuka Ⅱ - My dream is ... -

Asuka Ⅱ is the most luxurious passanger ship of Japan. It is going to ply at the base port of Yokohama.
I could that gougeous ship today for the first time. That is very big and hopeful for me.
I like to get on a ship like as like Asuka Ⅱ to go on a trip.

It was the first time to get oh the ship for trip on my high school days, for our graduation trip with all classmates.
We put out on sea to Ohita prefecture at about 16:00, and got there next early morning.
We stayed one night on the ship and had a good night.
I have been eagering to go on a ship trip since then.

I had a ship trip in China the January before last. It was from Hangzhou to Suzhou.
I got on a small ship, not so ship as a boat, and sailed to the Suzhou at about 17:00.
Though the boat shuddered very hard, but I didn't fell bad. Because I like to have a ship trip like that.
It was very exciting for me.

Today, I saw the Asuka Ⅱ at the Yokohama port. Then I thought of having a global travel on the ship, Asuka .
It gets my dream from now on.
The cost of global travel on the Asuka Ⅱ is very expensive. At least, it costs about 4 million at the second-class cabin. The deluxe cabin, the first-class cabin, is more expensive, it costs about 40 million.
But I hope to have a gougeous travel at the first-class cabin some day.I strive to earn enough money for my dream, putting on sea on the Asuka Ⅱ.

Japanese Enployee Is Hard Working

The fact that Japanese enployee is hard worker is very famouse in the world.
That is good and bed habbit.

Good aspect is that we, Japanese, are very diligent, and strongly have a sense of responsibility.
When our boss order us to do some tasks, we do that with all our might.
Besides we do that much more than how much our boss order.
That is very popular custom to us.

On the other hand, we Japanese tend to work over time, till the midnight and on weekend.
I incidentally called at our office today, on Sunday, after shopping at Shinjuku in Tokyo.
Though it was at the 7:00 pm on Sunday, there were over 10 colleagues then.
Maybe they were working since this morning.
I was surprised by that sight. Why do they taking so much tasks?
I can't understand. I didn't work at the office in any case.
Weekend is the important day for me to be refresh and to get happier life.Am I a bad employee? How do you feel that?

Bid-rigging

In Japan, some industries still have bad custom. Many media recently broadcast when bad customs blow open.
Bid-rigging has been broadcasted frequently.

Last year, the Fair Trad Commission expose criminal business practice of the steel bridge construction industry.
Some executive officer was arrested by what they have done.

This year, air-conditioning unit and civil engieering industry was disclosed their bid-rigging,they have done bad business practice for a long time, for the Deffence Facility Agency's project.
The civil engineering industy was brought their bid-rigging to light about 13 years ago. They have continued that bad custom since then. I think that another industory has bad custom, as like bid-rigging. When will it come to be so clear on every Japanese industry?

Many Showy Objects in Osaka

During the stay at Osaka this time, I walked about the town, where was called ' Minami' by all people in Osaka.



That atmosphere was very familier.
I though that most of objects, as signboards, was very showy.



When I lived there at my school time, I had never thought as like that.
But after a long separation from Osaka, I also thought it as like many tourinsts thought.
There are Big crab, Big blowfish, Chindon-ya, and many signs on the streets are also big.
Many Osakan people like to attract attention. They always talk with there friends loudly, and their performance is also overdone.

I think that Osakan people is straightforward.

Osaka - My Home Town

Osaka is where I was born, my parents have been living there.
I had gronw up in Osaka. After graduating private high school, I went to University in Kyoto.
I commuted from Osaka where I lived to the university in Kyoto. I used to think that it was very far, so it took about 100 minuites to get there from my home.

Osaka is very good city. All Osakan people is very cheerful and affable.
During stayed there at this time, I cut my hair at a barber's shop.
There was a very pretty lady that worked there as a barber.
I talked to her something else during hair cut time, she smiled and relied to me affably.

Osaka is the best place where we can cheerfully live with happy mind.

China town in Kobe

Kobe has also bery famouse chinese town.
There are a lot of chinese restaurants and goods shops.
On every weekend, many people visited there with your family and friend.
I visited there after a long time.

Many friends of mine lived at Kobe, so I used to visit there when I lived at Osaka.
On this weekend, all my friends had no enough time to meet me and go there.
Most of them had be already married. So I visited there alone.

When I got the China Town about at 14:00 pm, I was very hungry.
At frist, I ate a lot of chinese foods on the streets. Most of chiese shop surve their local foods at shop-front.
chinese noodles, fried prawn balls, siew mai, chinese bun, chinesen chimaki, and so on.
I like chinese chimaki very much. Chinese chimaki is bak chang local rice dumpling wrapped in leaves in English.



After having and enjoying chinese foods a lot, I walked around San-no-miya JR station.
Around San-no-miya was demolished by the big earthquake on the 17th Jan. 1995.
After a long time, nowly the town is already recovered.

I could have a nice weekend because I can felt the same mind when I was a student.

The Brand New Kobe Domestic Airport

The brand nes Kobe Domestic airport has just opened at 16th Feb.
It becomes that Kansai area has the 3rd Airport, the first is Osaka (Itami) Airport, the second is Kansai airport.
The three airports is very near, located in 25km radial.
Most of Japanese people think that there are still enough airports in Kansai area, just Osaka and Kansai. They haven’t thought that Kobe airport was necessary.
But when the Kobe airport was opened, many Japanese went there to do sight seeing.
In that time, I had a chance to land to the brand new Kobe Airport for my business.
The airport now has just three airline careers which take off and land there.
Anyway I hope that will be growth. Because Kobe was where I had been used to be there with my friend, during my period of university student.
